We were commissioned to redesign and build the Idler website and the new online course Ecommerce system. With a focus on the structure and user journey of the website the key goals were to improve the overall experience and increase user sign up and sales conversion rates. Based on the new trends in mobile purchasing it was a priority to ensure the website was optimised on all devices, to be as accessible to Idlers on all platforms.
A fully responsive website was designed to be in keeping with the Idler’s branding and illustration, with a focus on balancing white space. An Ecommerce site was built and integrated into their website, allowing for memberships and online purchase to be made or subscribe for all Idler content.
Now existing as an online publication and an integrated Ecommerce platform, we have enabled Idler to centralise all aspects of their creative business and improve their interactions with their customers. The weekend of launch, Idler were impressed by the number of page visits and online sales they received.
